Surgery Day!

While Jordan was playing basketball for the University of Calgary Jr. Dinos Spring League team he moved his leg in just the wrong way and completely tore his ACL. Unfortunately, the only treatment is an ACL reconstruction. He just had the surgery on Friday. Here are the fun photos!

We arrived at the hospital 3 hours before surgery so he could put on the attractive hospital gown.

Just waiting around before the surgery.

This is just as he came out of surgery. He was still very loopy. It was really funny to talk to him.
I tried to get all his secrets out of him!

The damage! He has to leave the dressing until his post-op visit, so we can't even see the cool scars. Notice how swollen his knee is.

The next day he was very sore! I guess he won't be running marathons any time soon! He will actually have several months of rehab to get him back in condition. Hopefully it will all go well so he can play his last year of high school ball.
