Sydni played for an Airdrie team that competed in the Calgary Spring league. They did very well and ended up with the silver medal this past weekend in the playoffs.

Just when you thought baskeball season was over!
When April came and the school season ended you may have thought that basketball was over for the year. Actually we got about a 2 week break before Spring league began. Jordan decided to try-out for the Jr. Dinos team. This team is sponsered by the University of Calgary and coached by two of the assistant coaches for the University team. (I know having a dinosaur for a mascot is a little odd, but I suppose a dinosaur can be pretty ferocious.) He was really excited to make the team especially since he is the only grade 10 to make it. Actually they are quite good. They are ranked as the number one club team in Alberta.

The Jr. Dinos, Jordan is the second from the left on the bottom row.
Syd is #2 in the middle. She said she didn't realize how short she was until she looked at this photo!
